Schéol est né à la veille de 2002, quand gaël commence à enregistrer quelques morceaux dans son home-studio. Différents musiciens rejoindront puis quitteront le groupe, principalement parce qu'ils n'étaient pas en phase avec l'ambiance des morceaux. Maintenant la formation est solide avec Heykel à la basse, Bernard à la batterie et gaël à la guitare ou parfois à la basse. La musique de schéol est un mélange entre cold-wave, trip-hop et noisy, le résultat est une musique electro (très) rock et instrumentale, toute la puissance des morceaux se révélant lors des concerts...

Schéol is born at the eve of 2002, when Gaël started to record some songs at home. Then, a lot of different musicians will join and leave the band, mostly because they didn't fit with the mood of the songs. Now the line-up is solid with Heykel on bass, bernard on drums and gaël on guitar or bass. The music of schéol is a mix between cold wave, trip-hop and noisy, the result is an electro-(very)rock and instrumental music. The songs are far more powerful when we play them live...
